Amazon, the US tech and retail giant, has been designing and working on a drone delivery project,
Prime Air, for a while now. Amazon intends to deliver customer orders by drone within minutes in the near future, but guess what? Nigeria online e-commerce site has already delivered its first order by drone, right here in Lagos. Yea, cool, huh?
*Evil grin* Well, Yudala actually beat Amazon to the race many thanks to
delays and strict US regulations.
Drone 'hype" everywhere!
Drones have been enjoying a great deal of hype lately, being touted as the future (well almost all new tech trends are touted as the future). Many thanks to their versatility and variety, drone can help with a wide range of things from surveillance, tracking, environmental monitoring to traffic monitoring and dangerous tasks. They become even more useful when fitted with outfitted with other resources such as sensors. I definitely look forward to receiving my grocery order by drone.

TheHerald, the Nokia Lumia phone order was delivered to an Access bank staff at Gbagada-Oshodi Expressway office in the ongoing black Friday sales.
